He's An Alcoholic. I sighed, waiting for Ethan to get out of the toilets. I'd been waiting for around ten minutes. "Ethan," I mumbled, knocking on the door. "What are you doing in there?" "Throwing up, what do you think?" A stern voice replied. "Then let me in, you know you can't get through that by yourself." "I can, you twat." He replied. It was around a minute after he said that, the door opened. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it." "It's okay. Have you finished?" I asked him. Sighing, he shrugged. "I don't know, I'm so hungover." He mumbled. "I told you you shouldn't have come to school today. Why didn't you listen to me?" I sighed, walking him back into the toilets and locking the door. "I don't know. I thought I was going to be able to do this but I guess not." Slumping down in front of the toilet, he tipped his head back and groaned loudly. "Why do I do this to myself?" He sighed. "You can't help it, sweetie. And you know that. It's just unfortunate that you can't handle it very well, then this happens." I gently played with his hair as he rest his head on my lap. "I'm sorry." He muttered. "You have nothing to be sorry for." I smiled, ruffling his hair softly. Sitting up, Ethan looked straight into my eyes. "I do, Wendy. I do. You have to put up with me every single day and every single night. You haven't been home properly for so long now because of me." "I'm glad I don't have to go home." I whispered. "What?" "Nothing. Umm, we can stay in here as long as you need to." I smiled. "No, you need to get back to lesson." "No, I don't. I need to look after you." I muttered. For the next twenty minutes, I was rubbing his back, playing with his hair. He'd only threw up once, so that was a plus. It meant we could get back to class and he'd start getting better. "We should get back to class now." I smiled. Nodding, Ethan stood up. I walked with him to the class room, our teacher giving us a slight glare as we walked in. "I thought you felt ill." She scowled. "I did. And I threw up. But it's not catchable, I know exactly why I threw up. So there's no need to send me home. I just needed Wendy here to look after me." Smiled Ethan, sitting down on a seat. I sat a desk away from him, sighing, and ending up in my own thoughts.
