I'm from Owensboro and the Eiffel Tower, red beans and rice to fruity tarts From the city of Paris, a journey my grandmother took as a child, From the plains of America as it first began, the rich understanding nature has feelings. I am from dusty boxes stored away into safety, memories and souvenirs tucked away for the next generation to add to.
