Do you mean Eisenhower as in the five-star general, United States Army during World War II and the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe?. The man responsible for the invasion of North Africa in 1942/3. The man responsible for the invasion of Germany and France 1944/5?. The first Supreme Commander of NATO?. The President of The USA during the Cold War where he stock piled nuclear weapons... That Eisenhower?.

@blindsilence Very true, the underpinning irony and hypocrisy is astounding isn't it? It's why I wanted to post this to Quotes, Politics, but was disappointed to see no section, unless I've missed it. As a quick note though, he did decrease the US military budget, shifting a lot of funding and R&D into institutes like NASA from the military. I think.
