48 Hours Your eyes are open, you don't want to watch your parents getting murdered, the only thing you want is to get the hell out of there. His piercing eyes are staring at me, and all I know is that I'm next. I was sitting on the floor, and suddenly I get up and run, he was following me, but he is speed walking, and I think " are you stupid? " you think you could actually catch me? The next thing I know I'm past out in the woods, and I'm tied to a tree trying to break the rope. I am freaking out trying to figure out what's going on and then a voice recorder turns on saying " you have 48 hours to get out of that rope and if you aren't I'm coming for you, have fun " then the voice recorder stops and I am freaking out, scared out of my mind trying to figure out how to survive. I try to cut the rope by moving it up and down to have the tree cut it, but nothing. I don't want to get killed, at least not yet. I suddenly remember, I have a pocket knife my father gave me just in case, and I think thank god! I finally get out of the rope and I tell myself, "run, run far and don't come back, don't stop running, GO!" I run and run and don't stop. I find myself at the police station out of town and tell them every little detail about his face and the killing of my parents and they say "it's all in your head, you just need to go to bed" "he said he was coming after me and he said he would find me, I'm the one, he's after me, I'm next!" I exclaimed. "We will do the best we can, we can investigate your house and investigate your dead parents, we will do the best we can, do you have school tomorrow, if so you should find your friends or make new ones and see if you can stay with them for a while, now can we get your address and phone number?" The police man said in a calm and gentle voice. "My address is 568 Sacramento street in san diego,and my number is 681-489-1220" I say. I spend the night at the police station, and they dropped me off at school, I mean might as well go to school while I have twenty fours left to live, right? I go to my first class, biology. The teacher gave me a new partner, of course it's a guy. Then he gently says "hi, my name is Jacob, but you can call me Jake" he says softly. "Hi, my name is Bethany, but you can call me Beth" I say back shyly. After biology , Jake and I started to hang out, and at lunch, and after school. " hey, um can I ask you a question?" I ask "Sure go ahead" jake replies. "Can I stay with you for a while? Because my parents were recently murdered and I had to watch, and the criminal is coming for me next" "Of course you can why would I say no" he says getting closer to me leaning for a kiss, I lean to, our lips met and the world stops moving, I think to myself , is he the one? " come on let's go to my place" he says. We get back to jakes house and I get a call from the police station, the call only lasted a few minutes. "What did the police say?" Jake asks. "They said that there definitely is a murderer and that he is after me, they said that the best thing to do is to stay with you" I say leaning for another kiss. It's funny how I get a boyfriend the last day of my #life. It's night time now and I'm freaking scared and I don't know what's going to happen next, suddenly the door bell rings, my heart stops and I turn to jake. "Go while you have the chance, he obviously wants me, and I certainly don't want you to be next, you're to important to me, I love you" I give him my last kiss while I'm still alive. "No I'm going to die with you by my side" he says. "Fine but I am at least calling the cops so if he is coming for you then you have a chance to survive" I reply. I call the cops and they are on there way as fast as they can. Jake and I run upstairs and hide in the closet, we are as quiet as ever, then suddenly the front door slams down, the murderer has come. He walks around downstairs and then upstairs, we heard the police officers pull in and ran threw the door. They ran upstairs and tackled the murderer and took him away. "Thank you" I say to the police officers, while hugging jake. "You're certainly welcome" the officer says while taking the criminal out to there car. After an hour we settle back in to jakes house to where were comfortable again. THE END
