The Silence She watches silently. You embrace her cautiously, reclining your head back slightly as she indulges within your senses. As your eyes flutter, you see him. He watches you lovingly, his face drooping in lingering sadness. You break away and walk to him, letting him take you into his arms as he kisses you lightly. As one eye opens, you see her again but this time she is sad, rubbing her arm gingerly and alone. You stand back and sigh, watching them both sadly. "Right or left, it's the same result." Yet you are still cautious. You take your face within your hands and sob uncontrollably, aware of the distant eyes.
