Featherstone Intro I wasn't really ever a people person. I just never was. I had next to no friends because 99.9% of the words that come out of my mouth were beyond sarcastic and emotionless. I really didn't care about having friends or not. I preferred to spend the least amount of time as I could with people. Because they just made my blood boil. Half of the time they didn't even have a clue what they were talking about. So what I had trained myself to do was sit back in my seat, twirl a pen in my hand, one ear bud in with the music blasting, and listen to the stupid conversations around me with the other ear. It worked all the time. People stayed away from me. They knew not to bother me or I'd just come up with some crude comment. They stayed away from me. And that's exactly how I liked it. That's how things just worked. Well at least, that's how it worked until I was shipped across the country to a town that I knew nobody and I knew nothing about it. I was less than thrilled.
