Never Back Down Part Two I lay with her. My tears stream down like waterfalls from my sea green eyes. This isn't how things are supposed to go. Taking my father wasn't good enough? Why does this have to happen to me? I close my eyes. "Mom, wake up now. It's just a dream. Please, let this just be a dream." I whisper. My sister crawls on the other side of my mother. Both of us, so dead inside we may as well be it. I grab my sister's hand. I squeeze so tightly. She squeezes back. I grab my mother's hand. I squeeze, but I feel nothing in return except for the radiation of her cold skin. The coroner comes in. I refuse to let go. I am not letting go this time. The last time I let go I didn't see her for four years. I won't do it. Not this time. If I let go now, I won't see her until my own death. "Mom, wake up. Tell everyone it's a joke. Please mom. This isn't funny." I speak so loudly. The coroner slowly walks towards me. I close my eyes. "Mom, it's me, your princess; please don't let them take me."
