Ranks are so frustrating! Every time I look at mine it's always gone higher and I just think; "Im posting, people are liking, I've got more followers, what am I not doing? Why does my rank keep growing? Why is there a rank? Why do other opussians have a better rank then me and have half the amount of followers as I do or half the amount of posts? I know that everyone with a great rank have deserved it but I just don't know how to get a better rank myself. One day I was in the 400 area the next I'm in the 800s. Ah well. Happy New Year to everyone!

It's not about ranks its about posting. And the people who notice that have higher ranks.

It's about writing things that people like, but even if your Opuss was 1st of the year, you could still be a really bad rank. Ranks are just something to aim for, to help people on their ways

Idk really, I don't post loads, on average two, maybe three posts a day. But I spend a lot of time reading other people's work and making comments - this helps the community grow and also improves your rank. It's about being involved in general. If course, writing things people like helps too.
