Candy Dull. Then again, Swinton always is. Cassie wandered the streets littered with chewing gum. She saw the blue bridge at the bottom of the winding road that was lit with the faint, flickering light of a rusty old street lamp. Teenagers roamed aimlessly around the streets, looking for trouble, wearing trackies and Nike high tops. Not Cassie. When the icy breath of winter bites Cassie, she bites back. Everyone wears dull, meaningless colours. Cassie wears bubblegum pink, lime green and lemony yellow. Her clothes are tainted with glitter and sparkles. She struts around the streets wearing candy-red doc martens with polka dot laces. She's considered to be a freak. No boys will give her a second glance, except when they want to torment her. Her best friend, Hayley, thinks differently of her. Hayley believes that Cassie shows something unique that not even Katy Perry or Lady GaGa could come up with. The starry sky revealed the moons bright light, not a cloud in sight. Cassie had bright red ringlets for hair and deep blue eyes. Hayley had jet black hair that had been dip-dyed purple, much to their schools disapproval. Her emerald green eyes shimmered like the precious stone that they resemble.
