Christmas Eve Every child does it, It's to be expected. But as the clock is ticking, This one is feeling neglected. No tree this year - no money, To afford one; such a shame. Christmas has been cancelled now, But no one is to blame. No bad reports or misbehaviour, Have caused this awful thing. The child has been good as gold, Yet no gifts does Santa bring. And still they sit and wait there, To see the man in red. Staring up the chimney, When they should be in bed. But Santa he's not coming,- Not this year - 'cause, you see, The treats have not been bought, and now, There's nothing there for me. Merry Christmas. Appreciate what you receive, some people don't get anything.
The Truth Why tell the truth, when a lie is much simpler? Why tell the truth, when a lie can get you out of trouble? Why tell the truth, when a lie hurts less? Why tell the truth, when a lie can fix your problems? Why tell the truth, when a lie can make people feel better? Why tell the truth, when you can lie instead? Why tell the truth?
Why Not? A bullock walked into a bar and order a lunch of salad and chips with mustard, ketchup and vinegar. When the waitress stared at the bullock, it said "I suppose you find it weird that someone like me would walk into a bar and order a meal like this?" The waitress replied "Not at all. I always order mustard, ketchup and vinegar with my salad and chips. " - "a country-lover's joke book"
