Autumn The cool wind floated in the sky, my necklace rattled like a wind chime in the air. I sat perched on the edge of my porch as autumn greeted earth. I watched as they embraced as old friends. The crisp, thick leaves coated themselves with golden sunlight, brown bursts of warmth hung from the wise branches. Specks of cinnamon crept through the open window, eager to collide with the chilly evening air. I inhaled deeply, as the saccharine sweet taste met my lungs, enveloping me in its sweet familiar aura.
