Forever My head on his chest I close my eyes and savour the feeling. The steady drumming of his heart beat soothing my post nightmare panic. He was here. Safe. I drape my arm over his abs and snuggled closer, he stirred slightly and enveloped me with his arm. Tomorrow would come and with it would bring all the stuff from my nightmares but I wished it didn't have too. I would give anything to stay in this moment. So perfect, no walls between us. I was his solely his, the steady rise and fall if his chest lulled me to the brink of sleep. He must have been attuned to me. Somehow he knew what I was thinking even in his sleep, I nuzzled closer and he lightly kissed my head whispering Forever
