Living With Eyes Closed As I sit in the coffee shop watching the world go by, I start the old pastime of people watching . The old man stopped over hunting used fag butts, the young girl arms folded with frozen eyes to keep everyone away, the man immersed in his mobile world including everyone in his pointless conversation . I see the mother rushing by , people shouting in cars and I shake my head and smiled .If only they would open their eyes they would see the autumn trees displaying their auburn feathers , the evening sending streaks of fire across a leaden sky and the wonderful diversity of us all . Seems we all live in strawberry fields .....
