The Pale White Sheet The pale white sheet shimmered in the air, Almost translucent and too happy to scare, It's bright little smile lit up the night, And gave every little child a big huge fright. 'Please don't be scared' the white sheet said, The children screamed and ran ahead, 'Don't run away' the white sheet pleaded, 'It's friends like you that I once needed' But they ran and they ran and they pushed and they shoved, To get away from little old Tony who had never been loved, His smile had been destroyed and his shine began to fade, So he went back to the happy place where he was once made.
