My Avengers Story Part 2 After a few moments of just sitting and staring at the ground while trying to make sense of what just happened, Kate finally got up and brushed the dirt from her hands and jeans. Once she glanced around the immediate area, she quickly wished she hadn't stood up. Standing directly in front of her just a couple yards away was a large, gray skinned, metal covered monster. She remembered seeing them in a movie once back home. An alien race known as the Chitauri. Just as she was starting to crouch back down into the tall grass and back away, the monster/alien turned and looked straight at her. It let out a horrible screech and pointed a big metal weapon at her and motioned for her to stay put or it would blast her. In seconds she was surrounded by half a dozen of the creatures, all screeching at one another and motioning to her. As they carried on their "conversation" Kate studied her captors. They were all at least 6 1/2 feet tall when standing straight. They were also covered in armor made from a type of metal she didn't recognize. Her captors also appeared to communicate exclusively through shrieks, grunts, growls, and the occasional hiss. The aliens finally seemed to come to an agreement about what to do with her, and thankfully, it didn't seem to involve blasting or eating her. They tightened their circle around her and started marching, pushing Kate along with them. She almost had to run to keep up with them. After jogging for what seemed like an hour, but was probably just a few minutes, they finally came within sight of a huge, black, oblong ship. The Chitauri didn't stop or say hello to the guards at the front door, they just kept on marching deeper into the sparsely lit interior of the ship.
