My #life Story Chp 2 I awoke to a cramp in my back and tried to straighten my rumpled clothing. I quickly shoved my sleeping arrangements in a nearby bush and made my way down the path." What to do, what to do" I asked myself. I had two options, go nick something from that fat kid I always see with chocolate on his face. Or I could try to make my way out of the unemployment line. Then I remembered two days ago when Tomas ( the young boy's name ) decided to kick me in the shins. I decided to not risk a painless job search and carried on. As I strolled down Kenning street I peered in every shop, hoping for an occupation sign. Suddenly something caught my eye. ' Need a job? Well, Gladrags has an occupation open to those who are willing to work in the ladies-wear industry. Shop located at 87 Gladdings street ' I read the sign and decided to go to the said store though I knew that there was a very little chance of me getting the job but I couldn't give up just yet. I waved for a taxi even though I was broke. As a cab stopped, I made to enter. The driver took in my appearance and raised his eyebrows. I raised my own, daring him to question my rumpled state. He sighed and asked me where my destination was, I asked for Maple street so when i wouldn't of paid my bill he wouldn't catch me. As the driver adjusted the mirror so he could look into my eyes I became uncomfortable. Would I be able to outrun him if I did not pay? They did say white men couldn't run. I assumed that didn't include women. Suddenly I saw we were next to Maplin road, which was just a few minutes from Gladdings. I suddenly darted out of the car and ran for my #life and while running could spot the driver storming out of the black cab, trying to chase me as people around him started to help him. All of a sudden pink clouded my senses as I stood outside Gladrags and smiled. I may not get the job, but hey, at least I tried. Remember, the more likes, the more I respond quicker.
