If But So A #poem I had to write in English: I wish you were here to see the sights, But here you cannot be, save for winged flight. So that these sights you can see, I'll hold you in my mind so you're here with me. Images of splendour I shall send And my last hapenny I shall spend, On postage stamps to send home letters to you, My love, my soul I'd send to you.
