The Cry Of The Cat Year 1912 It was a very quiet night near the dark woods. Too quiet. This did not stop Brad and his brother Jon to sneak out of their house that night to go into the dark woods. Brad's great grandfather told him and his brother the legend of the Black Cat. Every night for the last 100 years people have been going into the dark woods, but nobody would ever return. They say there is a large black cat that lives in the woods and eats anyone that goes inside. Nobody believes these stories and the kids are always daring each other to go into the woods, they were always too scared. Brad and Jon were determined to prove that the stories are not true. There is no black cat and the dark woods is not haunted by all the people that disappeared inside.
