This Place Is Black Scorch marks on the ceiling Orange dangling nipple light Hole in the wall Hanging key above the door A year full of stories On the shelf Bits here Pieces there It's beginning to look a little threadbare The cross The symbols The pagan themes It's starting to come apart at the seams The used and discarded Stay as they were Reality and dream Becoming a blur The pictures are different But they're all the same How long will it be before YOU accept some of the blame This place is black It makes me sad I don't know why I keep coming back
