The Loud Sound of Silence When you hear a big, booming noise, that piercing high pitch tune rings in your ear shortly after. Doctors say that the sound never really goes away. After a while you just get used to it and soon you cannot tell that it hurt in the first place. The same idea mirrors death. You never really get over it. Eventually you get used to the pain of losing a loved one. You remain a little tainted but you no longer notice. Goodbye Grandpa. You'll be forever in my heart. 9-5-2012
