A Shoe's Perspective I am a shoe. Sitting here in the bright, bright light. In my eye. My eyelet. I'm stuffed with paper. With laces I didn't choose. I am a shoe. I have a brother. Like me. But not the same. He is in a box somewhere. Not as attractive as me. It's high up here. Higher than I'll ever be. With laces I wouldn't choose. I am a shoe.
