The Magic Day 14: Have A Magical Day THIS IS AN AMAZING CHAPTER that I can attest WORKED for me! You simply start your day thinking of what you are going to do during the day and say THANK YOU as if it went perfectly even before you've done it. This was fun doing! I usually have a scratch paper where I put in the things I need to do the day. In this age of computers, I still prefer writing things down like a to-do list. From chores, to work stuff, to people to call or whatever, I write it down and cross whatever I have accomplished throughout the day. It has been a habit of mine to organize my day by step by step writing down what I need to do then compartmentalize it per area. If I go to the bank, I put down all I need to do in the bank, every single transaction I put it down step by step. If I have to go to the mall, I think back and write down every single thing I need to do in the mall, and add a few things I don't need to do on that day but might as well do it since I'm at the mall already. Thinking of what I was going to do today was easy, since I already know it. Thinking how it would go through perfectly is extra fun. This actually psyches you into thinking you will have a great day! I had to think of the things I will do during the day and be grateful as if it happened perfectly. I had to visualize that each thing I had to do, was going to be magical and say THANK YOU FOR IT as if it was done. Then after I go through what I have to do in my mind and being grateful for it, I also had to add and say THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT NEWS COMING TO ME TODAY. The book said this attracts pleasant surprises or great news....I did this all and it made me feel amazing! I have some issues with a government office, I was being penalized for a mistake I made, something to do with government mutual housing, similar to social security but more on housing benefits. Today, I was suppose to go and talk to them and submit additional forms, where they will base my penalty. I was being penalized for failure to register my employees. I did not register them because they were all part time and we were a small business, plus it was not mandatory (or so I thought). I was being penalized from 2006 to 2012, PLUS arrears! To make it clear, its like being audited and being penalized. Would you believe as I was talking to the head of this government office, she told me that I was lacking documents from 2006 to 2009 and that they needed it to process my fees. I did not submit these 2006-2009 documents and made an excuse that I was flooded and the documents were lost. This posed a problem to the person I was talking to since she had a deadline that she had to meet about my assessment of penalties. To make a long story short.... In the end, THIS IS A MIRACLE, she mentioned to me that registration was MANDATORY in the year 2010. If I can submit an affidavit that my workers do not fall in the salary bracket for compulsory registration in those years, I WILL NOT BE PENALIZED. I had proof that our workers do NOT and never was above the bracket where I should've registered them in this government housing fund office. All I had to do was submit an affidavit attesting that my workers from 2006 to 2009 do NOT need to register since their salaries were not within the bracket needed to register! OH MY I WAS SO RELIEVED! Now I will be only liable for years 2010-2012! WHAT A MIRACLE! WHAT A MAGICAL DAY! I was so happy when I got home, so insanely drunk with relief and happiness!!! This day made me feel happy, relieved and that I actually got a break! I missed that feeling so much.
