The Magic Day 13: Make All Your Wishes Come True The title itself made me so happy! I was so excited reading this chapter! It was tougher than I thought though. I had to list down 10 desires. Thinking of the top 10 desires sounds like a walk in the park, but actually, thinking of your top 10 desires is tougher than you think. BUT the good thing about this... YOU THINK about it. You actually reflect and wonder and solidify what you really desire. The chapter said gratitude is something you must have before you can receive. This bothered me a lot. How can I have gratitude for something I don't have?? Well the chapter explains, that for you to receive your desire you must be sincerely grateful for your desire BEFOREHAND. You must immediately, in your mind, form an image that you have it and feel that you have it. I guess The Secret fanatics have this down! Imagine the feeling you get when you get what you desire. Hold on to that feeling and you have done your part... that what the chapter said. What I love about what the chapter said is... YOU WONT KNOW HOW you'll receive it and its NOT YOUR JOB to figure it out. Isn't that amazing? All you have to do is imagine that you have what you wanted and feel that you have it. That's it! I'm starting to talk like a crazy person again sorry. As the book often states.. like attracts like, you must form in your mind a likeness or image of what you want, then to attract your desire to you, you have to feel as though its yours, so that how you feel is like how you would feel if you got your desire. I have no idea how science will explain this but for most people this actually works. I hope it works with me... or better yet.. YEAH THIS WORKS WITH ME! So what I did was write down the top 10 things I desire in my #life. What I wanted in my #life basically. Its fun when you're half way and seeing what you've written, but the start is sort of like having writers block. This of course made me realize I do NOT know what I want in #life, well not with certainty. I have concepts like happiness, joy, riches, comfort etc... but writing it down more detailed was quite challenging. This is what I came up with... after 2 revisions. I wrote it the way the book wanted me to write it. I'm not embarrassed to share although I'm fearful some might find it shallow or weak. BUT I'm a work in progress: Thank you thank you thank you for my perfect boyfriend who I will grow old with and we will live a happy content fulfilled #life together Thank you thank you thank you for being able to work a great job and live a wonderful #life easily in NYC legally Thank you thank you thank you for peace of mind, serenity and being joyful day in and day out Thank you thank you thank you for great healthy for me and my love ones Thank you thank you thank you for Handiwork running smoothly and very profitably giving me lots of money and free time to do what I want Thank you thank you thank you for at least P100,000.00 income monthly which I can save or use as I please Thank you thank you thank you for more loving sincere thoughtful and generous friends Thank you thank you thank you for being a source of joy, happiness and inspiration for a lot of people and friends Thank you thank you thank you for being physically, characteristically and personality wise attractive to others Thank you thank you thank you for an amazing, easy to please and generous tenant for the eastwook unit and other properties After I had my list done. The chapter told me to saturate each desire with gratitude. Thank you thank you thank you for (insert desire here)....... while imagining, I have to think that I already have it, visualize it in my head that I have it and FEEL that I have it. Feeling you have what you desire makes you feel so grateful. There were guide questions, in helping how to imagine that, you have what you want.... which was very helpful. It was really fun visualizing and imagining it. You actually feel a lightness when you do this practice. Next step crossing out what I already got wooohoooo!
