Death Blossoms In The Dark Me and Toni walked together across the park while the rain hammered down on top of us. Toni was shaking and she pressed her head against my chest while she spoke to me. "I, I don't get how he can just disappear like that. He-" "He'll be fine. Trust me, I bet he is just pissin' around." Even as I said the words I didn't believe them. The hand that gripped Max around the shoulder was still fresh in my memory. Long yellow nails and warped finger that hug from a dying grey hand. "Shit, he's not coming back is he?" I whispered to myself. "What?" Toni said pulling her head away from me. "Nothing." She sighed and put her head back on my chest. When Max disappeared, me and Toni had stumbled about the park for a few minutes calling his name, we though it was a joke. After about half an hour though, we began to sober up and realised that something had happened. We found blood dripping from one of the swings and that was when Toni began to panic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After a few minutes we reached corner where me and Toni had to split to get to our houses. "You go home and I'll see you in the morning. We can talk then." I said giving Toni a hug.
