The Dark It breaks my heart; it truly aches, when the dark falls the harder it gets to escape. I wash off my makeup and practiced smile. I prepare for the insomnia and demons that follow. I fight them off the best I can, until the slumber finally sets in. But lo and behold, begins round two, fighting off my dreams of you.
