A Normal Day Where do the hours between five and eleven go? Have to get to bed for work tomorrow, On the way I see the same faces, Not one to offer a smile, Who am I to complain, When I am just the same, Five hours in and I'm on auto pilot, Locked inside these four walls, The shutter goes up and I get a glimpse of the outside world, Wishing I could be anywhere else, I really don't know much about anything, But what I do know is there is more than this, I always seem to do more work than play, Oh well, it's just another normal day.

All Things Must Come To An End I started in the summer, I couldn't believe my luck, To do this was a dream come true, I got out of that rut, We met in the autumn, Seemed like a good thing, We spent all of our time together, Through winter and the spring, But now I'm all alone, With nothing at all to do, I was so happy and quite content, But now I'm feeling blue, So at the end of a year, A revelation hit me, All things must come to an end, Not good things, All things.

#life Is Wasted On The Living My closets full of skeletons, That I could never bare, I'm staring in the face of change, But I can't help but blink, I shy away from opportunity, Risks I do not take, What's the point in trying, I'll come across a fake, If I tried to make anew, I'd never end up winning, And on my death bed I will say, #life is wasted on the living.
