Clinging To A Still Heart The sea of doubt has filled me like a dam blocked with fear, The fear of what lies beneath the facade of love, To which my heart cries for some forgotten treasure , Perhaps a chapter of the book skipped in our haste, A hidden chamber full of warmth and relief, But not this hole full of emptiness and darkness, A darkness which knows no end, Until the masks have been removed, And the scars reveal more than words ever could.
