As The Night Turns We wandered with purpose through the inky blue night, senses heightened by excitement, alcohol and the feeling that anything could happen next. There was no temperature and it seemed like we were looking through gelatine, a dreamlike state though perfectly conscious and in relative control. Jess's grin captures our mood; we are bandoliers, bare foot gypsy mischief makers, free to roam the night. The stars wink their approval and the#moonguides our way. Sand blesses our path and the dunes ripple gently in a breeze we cannot feel. To the beach! Our purpose lies betwixt water and land, a base camp for communion of songs and nonsense gulped down in between belly laughs. Dancing flames like imps and firefly's crackle over the ocean sighs, this is forever! A whirling waltzer ride. And on and on, there is no time, just this moment a frieze of #life, a painting. No fear or pain just the magic of the night. Centuries could glide by like clouds, silent, watchful observers of our romping galavant, echoing in the wastelands of time. And whilst we make merry, the embers do appear, the flames mellow and mottle and the night turns. The inky, gelatinous gloop thins and an ultra violet glow begins, we feel the earth slow surf it's curve towards a new day. A calm blanket descends as couples make cosy, gazes are thrown to the ocean like fishing lines, pondering on the horizon, on adventures new and experiences to discover. Our hopes anew as the night turns...

Ininvincible I've always felt invincible despite the ups and downs, I feel strong and full of energy, just like a booming sound. I now know I'll decay at some point, my body slowing down, But I'll figure out a new way to smile instead of frown
