The Instructions - Chapter One He was surely dead by now. The instructions had said smother with the pillow for five minutes, well this had been more like nine or ten. He had, somehow, still been struggling after five so I'd kept holding the pillow over his mouth until he was still. Thankfully I hadn't been able to see his eyes. That would have been distasteful. Now I needed to remember what the instructions had said next. It had been quite clear on the necessary steps needed to dispose of the body efficiently and without attracting any unwanted interest. This was going to be fun.
