Albert Einstein famously said, “I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.” (from "Cosmic Religion : With Other Opinions and Aphorisms" (1931) by Albert Einstein, p. 97) I, too, value the importance of imagination, and constantly find myself exploring its possibilities. I was drawn to the artistic and the creative from a very young age, with my childhood friends and I creating fantastic scenarios and games with strange rules to entertain and delight ourselves. This playful sense of adventure and exploration carried over into my teen and adult artistic life. My background contains a long history with the Performing Arts, including Theatre and Drama, Music, Composition and Songwriting, Opera, and Dance. Along the way I also discovered passions and talents within the realms of the Visual and Literary Arts including Painting, Drawing, Animation, Digital Artwork and 3D, Poetry, and Short Stories. As an artistic soul, I enjoy the sense of play that comes with creation, and I try to ensure that this side of my life is given sufficient attention.
