Read, Write, and Pass the Paper

Sometimes what we read composes our character and it either adds up more on the heavy cargo we have or it can give us hope and encouragement to continue to fight and be strong.
Reading Becoming God’s True Woman by Nancy Leigh DeMoss is one of the good books I can recommend for those ladies that are courageous to ask God to transform them into a Godly woman.
There is a chapter in this book tackling about the wise and foolish woman of Proverbs 7. I admit, I neglect this part thinking I am not this type also I don’t quite understand its point. After reading it, I decided to go out with friends to celebrate the CNY in the movie house and having food trip and coffee. And this is where I realize and understand this chapter adding up a revelation on my devotional time.
I learned that when you read a book it is intentional because you want to learn something from it. Perhaps, wisdom, knowledge, pieces of advice for personal growth and improvement. I think it is also good to ask the Lord for fresh revelations and how it would transform you and walk with it if really you are into the business being transformed not just merely reading.
With this book, I realized that I am trying to be someone that I am not – hypocrite (Luke 12:1) or at some point a foolish woman. We may not see it easily as what Nancy DeMoss said but God can reveal the true motives of the heart and there it is. BOOM! Then can we say who we are as a woman. Then we should resolve to ourselves the actions we can take to be transformed. And yes, we cannot do it by ourselves so we asked for our Helper to guide us. Facial mask is good for skin only but having it on you as a habit is not.
In reading books, I learned that I can be me while in the serious journey of fulfilling the ministry we have joined ourselves. We are all work in progress and it is not a one time big time knowledge to gain. But let us not forget the accountability part. We share about many things, laugh about our mistakes, and we can bring out the past being yourself is not bad as long as you clothe yourself with who you are now in Christ, and be thankful of how God brought us to the present.
And, I am motivated once again to write but not as frequent as others do to serve others in a way that it build and encourage as I believe that is were gifts/talents are meant to be. We are all created differently and given wisdom. We cannot be what others are but we can be the one who God intends us to be and the real package of who we are from the past transformed from glory to glory. I am blessed to have been read the works of some writers but saddened by some of it contents. Truly! Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). Writing uplifting words is a magnet to the eyes and a hope for the down soul rather than having it contained with sentiments, grumbling, and complaining. For me, writing is killing my idle time that the enemy is using to destroy my mind! I considered it as a weapon and a training tool to meditate and walk handy with the Word of God.
I remember the creative writing session I had last year. We are asked how we intend to use it. I answered to motivate and encourage. And I think it’s time to get back up and never loose of the answer I had given. Writers have their own insights and we cannot copy their ways or do as what they want to write. It is not being someone but we’ll never know how it will affect others’ lives no matter if you’re a professional or not.
Eyes on you own paper and pen as our teachers said during exams. Let us have our eyes on others’ papers and learn from it. Paper and pen to note and mark special remarks of Jesus for us. Then pass the paper is passing it to the trusted people that can pass them to others (2 Timothy 2:2) is the goal.
