Funny how friendship can turn out Someone you felt was dear Beneath their smiling fake fasade A hatred you find unclear Someone you classed close enough To share your highs and lows But in the end you learn, too late They're revelling in your woes Sad to say those friends are not As pure as they make out But insecure, sad strays of #life Full of bitterness and doubt So when these friends turn out to be Two faced, not worth their salt Just turn the other cheek my friend And cherish the friends you've got
