The ground beneath me starts to crumble just as I was starting to feeling safe. Terror strikes the very essence of my being and turns me into something far beyond sane. An ear piercing scream echoes around the empty field and makes me want to cover my ears; only to realize that it was my own. Another crack sends shock waves down my spine, but I daren't move. One movement would trigger the ground to give way. How stupid I was to have stumbled right into a trap. My #life seemed to replay right before my eyes as the full force of what was going to happen hit me square in the face. If I didn't come up with some genius plan of escape right now; I would die. And thats when something in the corner of my eye caught my attention. A small apple tree was fruiting just a few meters away, with lots of apples on it. In the amount of time that is commonly known as a split second I calculated the exact percentage

It started among the pink fluffy clouds in the deep blue sky. The tips of her fingers, complete with long painted nails, slowly reached out to grab the the old door handle. It twisted with ease, give the slight creak of the door as it opened for the first time in hours. Her eyes lite up as she was welcomed with the intriguing feeling of exceptence and safety. A bush chase My feet were sore and my legs were burnt; as we lagged along and my stomach churned. A howl echoed through the dusty planes; And it made me stop and pull the reins. The brumby let out a deafening roar; Just like a man would before a long war. And that was that we were of at a sprint; Hooves striking firelight as If they were flints. Another long howl rang through the outback; But we sped along that dusty old track. The source of the howls I could hear was behind us; But I daren't look back in fear. When a third howl boomed and shook the ground; I couldn't help but turn around. As my hair blew softly in the wind; My eyes widened and my stomach cringed. Behind us was nothing but shadows and scrub; A soft breeze playing a tune through a shrub. Heavy rain pelted against my cold skin and saturated my already drowned body. Thunder crackled and lightening lit up the sky as I desperately tried to run for cover. I finally reached the post office I had been running for and ***** the 4 envelopes I had concealed in my coat before leaving. The raging storm still ***** outside but a warm sort of feeling had welcomed me in when I had entered. The post office was as same as ever;
