Chapter one: when it all happened. We were on our way back from South Carolina, when "Bam!". It hit us. We didn't see or hear anything, lights, horn nothing. I looked over at Kay. She wouldn't talk to me. It was like she couldn't talk. I call nine one one, and they came right a way. They put her on a greenery and put her straight in the ambulance. I road with the police to the hospital. My parents were all ready there when I got there. We rushed in to room Kay was in. "She has a machine breathing for her." said the doctor. " Will she ever wake up?" I asked nerviest. " I am afraid the answer is no" said the doctor. I ran out of the room and in to the bathroom down the hall. My mom followed me in there.
