Pearl and Dash Written by me Once upon a time, there were two best friends , Pearl and Dash. They were dolphins and loved swimming and racing in the ocean. One day, during recess at fish school, Ms. Bubbles told them they should join the swim team. The girls thought that was an awesome idea! Next Morning, Dash and Pearl showed up at the pool. " Alright," snapped Coach Clam. "Today is our test to see which one of you will be competing with us this season. All of you, pick a lane, NOW!" They were all scared, so everyone went into lanes quickly. " Ready, get set, go!!!" In about 15 seconds, Pearl was neck and neck with Dash, at the finish line!!!! " Tie!" shouted the timers. " Noo! We only need one more swimmer, not two!" complained Coach Clam. "I'll talk to those girls that won." said his son. The young seahorse swam over to them. "Hi! Are you Pearl and Dash? " he said. " Um… Yes? Who are you?" asked Pearl. " I'm Burger, Coach Clam's son." Burger answered. " He told me to tell you to come here tomorrow at 70 sharp to see which one-" "Which ONE!? Like only one of us can join?" " I'm sorry to say yes. Good luck!" Burger said while swimming away. " We can't go through with this! I might win you can't be in!" Dash said. "I might win you can't be in!" Pearl said also. Next morning at 70 they arrived at the pool. Ready, set, 'beep'! Oh no! Dash was ahead and ready to win, and she DID! " Congrats, Ms Dash Anderson!" Everyone said to her. " No" she finally said. " I quit. If Pearl's not in, I'm not. See ya." " You can't! You're the only good swimmer! I'll let her in too!" "Awesome!" Bye! Thanks!" The End
