Catching Up It has been a long time Since I have posted here, Lots of things have happened, but nothing you should fear. I have turned twenty-one, On the second of July, I was given awesome gifts, And new instruments to try. I've had a go of playing, My new didgeridoo, I can get a drone note, But god knows I can't get two. When you get annoyed with that, And give a little groan, I will just get out and play, My new Stylophone. I've started a new place of work, But the one at Quasar, I did not apply for that, People thought it too biz-arre. When the clutch went on my car, I was nearly brought to tears, But now I've had it fixed I can Happily change gears. So this is just a quick some up, Not a comprehensive list, So now I'll go through the app, And look at what I've missed.

Today Today is the greatest day of all time, and now I will tell you why, I've effectively just been offered a job, being paid to dress as a Jedi. For those of you who're a bit confused, and are wondering really? how? What I'll do is I'll tell you a tale, to explain myself right now, We all went to a bowling alley, and played a game of Quasar. The Red team and Green team played together, And the Red team were victors by-far, If you'd like to know the top score, and how much the winner thundered, I personally took the game by storm, with eighty-nine thousand five hundred. After the game had finished, And we were all began to play pool I was offered a job, working part time, it had potential to be fairly cool. It was the manager you see, who asked for feedback from the game, they had just done improvements, and asked "did it still feel the same?" I gave him my thoughts and explained to him, how much fun we had had "it's fantastic!", The manager said, "would you like a job? You seem quite enthusiastic". He then said that they were looking to go, more down the route of 'Star Wars', excitedly asked if I'd like the job, I said yes without even a pause. And so to finish as all #poems must, with a conclusion, or sum up, or saying, I'll happily dress up and promote Quasar, as long as the manager's paying.

Opuss Advice Written for @BeckyKcf , an Opuss newby. When I was new to this great app, I didn't know what to do. Should I stick to #poems, Or write some other stuff too? So I wrote a #poem to find out, How I should proceed. The advice I got was excellent, And helped me in my need. People who have helped, Such as; @misslittleDHP, @leelee101, and @Clairabethy, There are so many others, That have helped me just the same, Look at who I've followed, And you'll see them all by name. To give you some advice, Because it's time to say "so long", Listen to comments from Opuss folk, And you can't possibly go wrong. Happy Fathers Day Pops I don't want to say you're fat, I don't want to risk it, I'll just tell you, By saying put down the biscuit, I don't want to say you're bald, That just would not be fair, I'll just say that you're a man, With a distinct lack of hair, I don't want to say you're old, I will just refrain, I'll just say it quietly, By giving you a zimmer frame, I don't want to say that you will, Lose your memory, But I just can't remember, What this verse was meant to be, I don't know just what to say, So I'll just say this, Your new car was a big part, Of your mid-#life crisis, So to wrap it up, We just want to say, From the three of us, Happy Fathers Day. Confusing Lyrics There are some lyrics, That have no panache, And they come from our friend, The great Johnny Cash, He wrote a good song, Called "the Ring of Fire" In which there's some lyrics, That are woefully dire, He says "I fell into, A burning ring of fire, I fell down down down, But the flames went higher" Did the fire really rise, Is this honestly true? Or did it just look like that, From his point of view? As Johnny fell down Did the fire stay still? Or did actually rise, And give him a chill? I'll leave it at that, Won't go on any longer, I'll go start a job, As a new nachos monger. I obviously give credit to Johnny cash for his great If not a little confusing song " the Ring of Fire" which I've used in this #poem . I understand this isn't my greatest work, but I wrote it in haste, apologies.
