The First #poem In 17 Years So Be Kind I don't feel anything nothing at all I've been this way once before The cycle keeps repeating the lesson not learnt How many times do I need to be burnt I keep on forgetting about the true me Getting caught up in problems why can't I see The truth is there it's the simple things in #life That have true meaning and keep us out of strife It's the beauty of nature The wind in your hair The people in #life that love you and care It's in the kindness of strangers The hope in a child's eyes It's not in the media or societies lies It's going back to basics finding true meaning It's in our hearts and in our dreamings Let us all speak kindly to ourselves and others Help out our fathers and our mothers love one another and have respect Everyone has a story so let us reflect We are all human we belong to this earth Let us not forget we all have worth
