Awkward Love Chapter 4 " I can't believe you're dating him!" Ali screamed. It was Friday night and like always we hung out at my house. Ali was freaking out but I don't really know how to react knowing that in a couple of weeks I may have to chose between moving to California or staying in Florida. " So does it matter during the summer I won't even see him and he will forget about me and probably go back to Marisa." I said while trying to find a movie to put in. " He will not forget about you he will probably call you like everyday and wonder what's on your mind," she said thinking of all the possibilities. "Just think he could be your Prince Charming!" "He's not that into me anyway he just has a little crush on me and when he figures out how boring I am he will move on." I said trying to push any thought of him out of my mind. It was my night to enjoy not to worry if I'm even good enough for him. " Now hurry up and pick a movie." I said reaching for the popcorn. We watched at least five chick flicks and talked about our celebrity crushes so far a perfect night and we even skyped my brother. We finally went to bed at 7:30am and woke up by 20. It was the perfect sleepover before summer and we talked about what we were going to do in California. But of course everything good has to come to an end as we see Marisa walk up to the front porch. "What do you want," I asked annoy that she would be here. " I want you to break up with Travis." She said sternly not losing the threatening glare in her eyes. "Why should?" I say a little bit confused. "Because you stole him from me so you have to break up with him or else." She said tempting me to just shut the door in her face. "Or else what Marisa, this is so stupid," I started closing the door but she opened it back up and pulled out her phone. She showed me texts from Travis saying how it was just a stupid dare and how he never even considered liking me. "See he doesn't even want anything to do with you just call him and break up." She said grimacing just like everything she won the argument. "Fine." I say almost shakily I didn't know what to say it was a weird mix of feelings I was mad at him yet I wanted him and I just decided I was done with him. " Hey... Umm this is going to work out," I say as my voice cracked. Why was this so hard I hadn't really fallen for him have I? "Wait, why was it something I did." He sounded so confused which made me even madder. "Just I hope you and Marisa are happy together." I say barely screaming and hung up right after that. I was so over it! Why did I even agree to it? My head was spinning and Ali asked what was that all about so I told her the whole story.

Awkward Love Chapter 3 Free period is where you can go to a quiet spot around the campus and either study, relax, read, or listen to music. My free period I always go to my favorite spot on campus which everyone forgot about. It's behind building 600 and there's a little bench in the woods under a willow tree with a pond right next to it. It's always so peaceful and hasn't been touched for years since everyone forgot about it except for me. " Where are we going?" Travis looked really confused. " We could just sit by the fountain." " You can go there if you want I'm going to my usual spot, and besides your girlfriend is probably worrying about you." I teased him. Right when we got there his mouth dropped open. " Wow!" " I know," I said laughing at his ridiculous face. I sat down on the cool grass put my headphones in and started to write in my journal. He yanked one of my headphones out " Ow what was that for?" I said. "What are you writing?" He asked trying to look at my journal. "Here go ahead and read," I said handing him the journal. " It looks like it's in some foreign language." He said trying to pronounce some of the words. " You're right it's in French," I said. "Hmm okay what do you write in here?" He asked flipping through the worn pages. " Well I write about things that happen emotions and stuff like that." I said trying to get it back. " Oh so pretty much secrets." He said teasing. "Well it's mine now and you can have it back after I decode the secret message." " The secret message is 'Don't read my journal' now give it back." I said laughing. " I will only give it back if you say some interesting things about yourself." He said smiling a daring smile. " Fine, umm lets see my favorite color is yellow, I love chocolate, I have one brother, I also have a labordoodle names Nessie, and I love reading cute romance stories." I said " Fine I guess you can call those suitable answers," he said. " I guess I have to tell you about me now?" I nodded and grabbed my book out of his hands but he pulled it back and put it into his backpack. " Hm... My favorite color is blue, I love steak, I have one older brother and one younger sister, I have a dog named Buddy,and I like to watch action movies." He said blushing. " Nope that is not juicy information if I wanted to know this stuff I could have just gone on Facebook." He laughed really hard and almost fell into the pond. I told him that there were alligators in there so he picked me up and started swinging me over the pond. We spent the whole period talking pretty much. " Wait..." I said pausing before we passed the 600 building. " What?" He asked looking deep into my eyes. " Why are you now talking to me... I mean we always had at least one class together and now you start talking to me," I said. " I guess I'm just a little bit confused." He bit down on his lower lip and finally gave an answer. " This is why," he kisses me! In the perfect moment and says," I liked you every since day one but I never got up the nerve to tell you till today... So here it goes will you go out with me?" " Yes! And I also really liked you..." I said and he kissed me again! I can't wait to tell Ali she will be so happy!

Awkward Love Chapter 2 "Why are you sitting in my seat," Marisa said. She is the most popular girl in our school and has a bunch of minions who do whatever she says or wants. "Oh sorry I was just sitting in my usual spot and..umm..and.." "Stutter much" she said while the popular wanna bes laughed. I picked up my tray and walked outside and sat next to the fountain counting the days till summer. "Don't let Marisa bug you," Ali said trying to cheer me up." She will soon grow old and fat like the rest of us." I laughed my best friends always know how to cheer me up. " I can't wait till summer we finally are going to Beverly Hills and staying with my brother!" I said lying down in the cool grass. I know I'm going to miss Florida the beaches aren't as crowded and its never really cold but I needed a new fresh start to the summer. " Do you think your brother can make us models!" Ali said thinking of all the possibilities. " He's a famous actor not a miracle worker." We both laughed and dreamed about what it would be like to be famous. " Is there a lunar eclipse today" Ali asked we both opened our eyes and see Jake and Travis. " Oh umm hey..." I said I really didn't want to see him right now. " We came to apologise for Marisa she's just very outgoing and umm straightforward..." " You don't have to defend your little girlfriend I don't really care... it's fine really," I interrupted him. " What she's not my Girlfriend?" Travis said trying to defend himself. " The bells about to ring I have to go and get my books." I said starting to get up from the nice cool grass. " If you want I can walk you to your next class.." He said pushing back his hair " It's fine I have a free period," I said trying to walk away. " Me too we can study together if you want." He said blushing " Of course she will!" Ali said pushing us closer together. The only thing going through my mind was that I was about to spend an hour with the cutest guy at our school. Also that I was craving ice cream.

Awkward Love Chapter 1 "Kylie go over there and talk to him." Ali said hoping to talk some sense into me. " I can't he's popular and I'm a nobody," I say dazing off oh how I wish the bell would just hurry up and ring! "I don't see why you won't I bet he is dying to talk to you" she said sarcastically. "Fine I'll go talk to him." I slowly walk over and then finally the bell rings and I hurry out of Mrs. R's third period class. "Wow, you chickened out," she said trying to make me feel bad ." Whatever it's not like he would talk to me anyway." I said and of course right when I said that I had to walk right into him. " I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." I said clumsily picking up my history textbook. " It's fine" he said "Hey I'm Travis, are you new here since I never seen you around?" He said. "No... Actually I've been going here for two years." I stumble to find my words. Of course he never noticed me why would he! He has every girl in the school after him. "Oh sorry that was a stupid question." He said looking embarrassed. "It's fine I'm not the type of person who stands out in a crowd." I said trying to make him feel less embarrassing and making myself look even more pathetic. " Here do you want me to walk you to your next class?" He said with his bright blue eyes and amazing smile. "Sure I guess" I said stupidly. "OMG!!! I can't believe he walked you to your classroom!" Ali said looking so happy. "He felt bad since he made the situation awkward it's no big deal he will probably forget about me in an hour." I said eating my mac and cheese. "Besides why would a guy like that ever talk to me he is absolutely perfect and I'm just..." I stop speaking because all of a sudden Travis and his best friend Jake come walking towards us. "Are these seats taken" Jake asked looking at Ali. Ali has been in love with him since eighth grade. "You can take them." She said flipping her blonde hair out of her face. "Thanks" he said. "Hey Kylie!" Travis said happily. He looks like a Hollister. He is tall with blonde hair, blue eyes , and an amazing smile. "Hey Travis" I said shyly. And of course at that moment something terrible happens.
