To Breed Or Not To Breed?? For many months now I have been deliberating over when that "right" time is, we always hear people say that they're waiting until the perfect moment, does such a thing exist? I've always considered myself to be fiercely independent and very self sufficient, so children were never in my immediate plans. Then earlier this year I got married. That sent the baby ball rolling, people were going stir crazy for any comment that could be misinterpreted as a hint to a new arrival. My mum, dad, in-laws, work colleagues, friends, everyone started quizzing me at every opportunity. Even down to the car I brought not being practical enough, surely it was more realistic to have brought a people carrier or even a minibus!?!? It was never ending! One evening my significant other broached the subject, he decided to inform me of his desire for a baby. Now I feel that I have a duty to our marriage and him to do the expected thing and start trying for a baby, but am totally unsure as to whether I'm really ready, we are fairly financially stable but haven't yet brought our own house, what should come first? Can you ever be stable enough to turn your entire #life on its head for this little innocent? Should I just jump straight in? Am I right to wait? When is the perfect time? I can clarify that I'm still none the wiser, and will continue in my voyage to find the illusive event!

Does Human Conscience Still Exist? Being stuck in a rut is something most people can relate to, whether it be in work #life or romance. Most of us still like to have faith in our fellow human beings, although in most cases my faith is quickly diminishing! Being offered that vital olive branch, when there seems no other option is a simple decision, right? Throw in the fact that the olive branch is offered by a close friend, it's a no brainer! Still with me? But what happens when that persons actions have a huge affect on your personal, home and health welfare? Still such a good friend? Working with friends or family has always been notoriously difficult, I found this the hard way! I was working in a job I hated, not great pay, and not fab people to work for, I knew I wanted to leave, but having the opportunity to, proved more difficult, until my friend approached me with an offer too good really to be true - I later found that it was! We worked great together, i was self employed, working alongside her, things were brilliant, until I couldn't cover her one day, that's when the tides turned on me. From then on my #life was made hell, I couldn't have holiday, wasn't allowed time off, things went missing, and was totally ignored everyday. Things were impossible, I was stuck in the proverbial rut. In to high a position to quit and go elsewhere as I couldn't afford a pay cut! This was a friend that I had confided in, trusted, thought wouldn't let me down, when all that had happened was her using me for her own personal gain! The moral of the story?? There's no such thing as a good Samaritan - people have no conscience, its all about what you can do for them, and when the time comes where you're no longer useful, where does that leave you, stuck. No longer do we stick together and look out for each other, we back stab, we turn like a pack of wolves! My advice.... Don't ever trust that someone has your best interests at heart, unless they stand to gain, they're not interested!

Luck.....is It Fate? Sat at work, bored,unhappy, struggling to cope with the monotony of #life, wondering to myself is there such a thing as luck? Now here's my question, how can there be such a thing when apparently our lives are mapped out by fate? We're all supposedly just walking a pre-determined path, luck doesn't seem to make an appearance, or does it? Some people seem to have it all, health, wealth, happiness, success...... Is that luck or was it always going to be like that? Or is another factor playing a part? If we really want something to happen, is it true that we have to make it happen? I sit here thinking fondly of my mother in-law and her much overused saying, "everything will sort itself out in the end" - Will it? Do we really have any control over our own lives or has some greater being already made those decisions for us?
