Hands I keep telling my hands that they are only meant to hold pens and paintbrushes, but they still long to hold and be held by your hands. Isn't it funny that something as beautiful as our hands- palms and fingers, able to speak the languages of the deaf, artistic, and thoughtful- are dumb enough to crave things they can't have?

I Want Forever When he tells me he likes me I want it to be at the right moment. I don't want it to be loud. I don't want it quiet and bashful like a kindergarten boy. When he hugs me I want it to be a real hug. I don't want one of those crappy one-arm things. I don't want it to be stiff and uncomfortable. When he kisses me I want to get butterflies and feel warm all over. I don't want it to be awkward when it's over. When he tells me he loves me I want to know that he actually means it. I don't want it to be in a text or over the phone. I don't want it to be said to dramatic like it is in the movies. When he gets down on one knee I want to get shaky and maybe cry a little. I don't want it to be about the ring. I don't want distractions. When he says "I do" I want to know he means it with all that he has. I don't want a dry eye in the audience. I don't want it to mean for a little while. I want forever.

I couldn't help but look at you sometimes, because you just seemed perfect. No, you didn't seem perfect. You seemed like you had flaws and mistakes, but that didn't define you.

It's Her Birthday 14 years ago A girl was born. The parents were happy Because she was cute. And still She is cute. And she loves Jesus. And makes others want to love Him too. She's felt pain And gone though some things. But she has a beautiful smile And she always wears it. I'm so thankful for her Because she always helps me. Words can't describe How amazing she is And I'm so glad I can call her a friend. Because that's what she is- An incredible friend.
