Liberty There are forces at work in all of our lives that attempt to control our thoughts and our actions by subtle means. They desire to influence our decisions via the manipulation of base emotions. Greed. Guilt. Fear. Hate. The ability to reason and evaluate information, and the reliability of it's source, is of paramount importance in combating those manipulating forces. We must determine our own opinions from what we know to be true, from rational analysis, and from clear thinking. Always consider the agenda behind the message. Always consider the motivations of the messenger. "Know yourself". "Nothing in excess".
