Chapter One "Guys, I think she's waking up," was the first thing I heard as my eyes fluttered open I looked around me, and this time I could actually see everything. I guess that whoever those people were found my glasses. "Gracie?" Said a female voice close to my ear I scooted away from the voice, suddenly getting scared as I noticed all the unfamiliar people surrounding the small bed where I lay. My breathing picked up, and I could feel my heart beating hard against my chest as my fingers started to get numb. I knew all these feelings; I was experiencing a panic attack. "She's having a panic attack. Get the doctor in here before her asthma takes control." A man at the foot of my bed said calmly "Gracie, look at me," said a voice on my right side, "Put your head inbetween your knees and breathe. Just breathe." I did as I was told. I felt a gentle hand rubbing small circles onto my back, telling me to breathe in... and out... in.... out... My breathing eventually went back to normal, and I could feel my hands again. I tried to straighten myself up, but I was to exhausted. I lay down, then glanced at all the worried faces around my bed. "Who are you?" I whispered, my voice scratchy "I'm Dr. Spencer Reid, with the FBI." Said the man who had comforted me as I had my panic attack The rest of the people surrounding my bed introduced themselves, but one stood out to me. He was on my left side and his voice was familiar. He introduced himself as Derek Morgan. "You saved me." I said to Derek, my eyes filling with tears as he nodded I hugged him close to my chest, sobbing, as I whispered, "Thank you, thank you, thank you," over and over again Authors note- Incase you didn't already guess, this is indeed a Criminal Minds fanfiction. Chapter One When I awoke, my vision was blurry. I realized with a start that I had no clue where I was, and I couldn't see anything for I didn't have my glasses. I attempted to search the rough,hard floor for the plain black frames, but my hands were tied tightly behind my back. I suddenly noticed a hazy, tall figure approaching me . I started shaking with fear. "Shut up!!!" The figure bellowed as I whimpered, horrified of the man "Please don't hurt me." I whispered, my voice small "I told you to shut up." The man growled, kicking me hard in the chest, making me wheeze for breathe My asthma started to take control of me as the man repeatedly kicked me where I lay on the floor, curled in fetal position. As I was about to pass out from lack of oxygen, I heard a loud bang, like a door being roughly thrown open. The man was pulled off of me, and I started to see black. "Stay with us, Gracie, please." Said a gentle male voice "Someone get the paramedics in here," yelled a different voice That was the last thing I heard before my world went black.
