The Night Coming down from up above Dripping down your skin like broken love Hitting the floor with such little sound And disappearing, never to be found Soon comes the clashes from nowhere Destroying the villain in its lair Shines of shock in the air Scaring the children away from the fair Then finally the solid parts Which could actually move carts They fall on your head And rumble your bed Some could destroy cars While others bang on bars But after all of this stuff You may have to huff Shines of happiness appear What nobody can actually fear The dog can play in the garden Posh people could pardon All of this would happen again But we'll just have to wait until then
