Easy If everything was easy, would anything be worth doing? Without competition or incentive our drive is effectively ruined It may seem like the better path to take at the time But you will most likely come to regret it down the line The overachievers were always the ones teased and mocked in school But ten years later they are the ones doing a lot better than you Think of all the people who are better off in the world They were the ones who worked hard and knuckled down to learn Of course there are exceptions, like Bill Gates who dropped out of school But there are very few exceptions, so best assume you're the rule Please take my advice since I have the experience to show That easy will get you nowhere, hard work is the way to go

Procrastinating Staring at a blank page Racking through my brains Trying to find the answers To the homework due today Only fifteen minutes of break Until my english lesson begins Only fifteen minutes to do the questions Until I have to hand it in I'm so bad at getting it done I've left it to the last minute again If only I did it last night Then I could relax now instead But, no, I couldn't do that! I just had to watch the telly I had to make dinner, play the piano Anything except essays and spellings I wish I wouldn't procrastinate In everything I do But it's just who I am, I leave things late I bet you do it too

I'm sorry that I hurt you, I wish I could undo it all I wish we could go back to the start so I don't have to feel guilty anymore And even though I was a bad friend I would like to point out to you That I apologised in the end and I admitted the truth You, however, were weak and never admitted yourself That you have made mistakes, you were in the wrong as well And I don't think you realise just how much it hurt When you turned the world against me, over only a few harsh words I wish I could tell you that I can put it all behind me But I am left with scars that will forever remind me I cannot escape from the hurt that I caused myself And I wouldn't wish what I went through on anybody else So I would like to ask you that the next time you fall out with a friend That you look at things from a different view, and feel the pain on their end
