Ad-van-ture Ocean Chapter 1 Part 2 Hours had passed and she was still sitting there, on her dinning table staring at the all-wet box. Water was dripping down from her naturally-curled long light-brown hair down to her laced white dress. Finally she got up, grabbed the box firmly and walked to her bedroom. She kneeled down right beside her bed. Upon her touch a handle appeared on the floor, and it was a cover to an entrance. She lifted it open, and inside was a staircase to the dungeon. Dazzling and colorful dim lights shined from under the staircase, like the universe but with colors. She went down the stairs and a cabinet appeared. It moved slowly towards her and eventually stopped at her feet. It looked as if it's a 100-year-old piece of furniture, if not older. She placed carefully her parcel on top of the cupboard, and opened the drawer below. She took out yet another box, almost exactly the same as the one just arrived but older, yellower. Inside this box was a tiny toy car again, a van, but this time in blue. Light blue. Its windows were all broken for some reason, and the bonnet and doors were bent as if a serious accident had really happened. There was a tiny note as well on the box, and it said, "To my beloved Percy, By the time you received the second present just like this one, I will be long gone. Follow the signs, and you may meet your real parents. Love, G.D." She took out the newly-arrived pink van and examined closely the difference between the old and the new. They were so delicately made that we can actually see their car plates. She was not surprised when she found out they were almost entirely the same, except the numbers. The new one has OC3 599 and on top says a little word TURE. Under were some even tinier words that said, "protect the little ones." She opened yet another drawer and took out a dial-pad telephone and placed it on the floor. "You know who to call," said Percy. Right after she said it she heard someone rang the doorbell. She slowly walked back to her bedroom and closed the lid. Handle and lid disappeared again after she walked out of the room. The door opened and a man in his mid-thirties stood there, looking worried. "It's time to go, Fred." Said Percy. "But what about the orphanage?" "Farina will take care of them well. Besides, it's almost time you step down from the position, right? It's been a hundred years, my friend." "Oh shut it." Said Fred. "So the van came?" "Yes." "When should we leave? At least I have to be there at my fake funeral." "Weather reports says tomorrow it will rain. It's a perfect time to go. I will miss them horribly, but being there at the funeral has no use." "Ok fine. First things first. When do we leave exactly?" "The first raindrop from the sky." "What if it doesn't rain?" "Then you gain yourself a proper funeral day." "Great. See you then." "See you." And there she had in her hand, the tiny little pink van.
