The Empty Barn Shall I tell you the story of the empty barn? Whispered Old Jock the dark mysterious grizzled old man of an ancient Scottish Island. The Scouts all sat round the fire as the wind howled around their ears in ghastly tones. It was a moonless night and the sky was bible black with fear. Shall I? The Scouts all looked at one another for reassurance as a boom of thunder echoed around the loch and the sky filled with the sound of terror. Aye said a small lad without conviction and with the nervousness of a mouse - tell us all. Another boom of thunder followed by a crack of lightening lit the sky as the heavens poured down.
