The Paper Flower Chapter 1: Vurin has been peaceful, without a drop of blood shed. But that was before He came... He attacked our land and poisoned our peace. Now, war threatens us all. And as if things couldn't get worse, a gang has made an appearance. Now, we are on our own. It's time for us to make a choice. Fight, or flee. Nyoku, or Xycrus. With the dark closing in, how can the light stand strong? Chapter 2: ~Xycrus - Ilver~ Thunder crashed against the dark sky illuminating the room even more than before. I stood in the room beside my brother as the maid rushed around making breakfast. My brother glowered at his feet and I chuckled, he was nervous around his elder brother. Casually, I swiped my hand over and hit his silver bowl causing it to crash to the floor spraying boiling water every where. He cried out and jumped away from his chair, smacking his head against mine cutting him slightly, then he curled up and held his head, half in tears. I laughed at the pathetic excuse of a Dark Kings son my brother was. The main doors swung open without warning and I straightened in my chair and watched as my father walked over and looked at the disaster, then glared at my younger brother. Looks like someone will be punished tonight. Chapter 3: ~Nyoku - Rian~ The golden light of the new morning gave my white marble floor a heavenly glow, which reflected off of the crystals carefully placed in the walls and floors causing a rainbow effect. Light blue tulips swayed outside of my window as a soft breeze carried the warmth of spring. This was some of the only peace I had left, all the rest had turned to chaos and turmoil. "Rian! Come down for dinner!!" My mothers angelic voice echoed through the halls calling me to her. I stood up and walked to the staircase, sliding down the railing, and slid into the dinner room. My three brothers were wrestling on the dark brown wood and the torn curtains wavered over the stove. My mother tucked her light red hair behind her ear and snatched Jacob, the second else's of the family, off the floor and placed him onto his chair, fixing his brown hair. Tyler and Bisi immediately ran to their seats not wanting to be picked up. After serving and eating dinner, a loud knock echoed throughout the house, and I sprinted to answer it, only to open the door to a Xyrcus.
