Finding Tracie Stone Chapter 2 Winter break started out really slow. I was tired of sitting at home. I got off my bed and walked slowly over to my mirror. Maybe I should lay off the sweets. I'll join a gym or something. But then again I don't have money. Being a teenager sucks. My mom walked in unexpectedly and gave me a firm look. "Tracie sit down." My mom was the type of parent who could go from acting like a young spunky 16 year old to a mature 37 year old. The reflection of my self still showed vividly through her deep brown eyes. "Then why don't you and dad go. It's just 2 weeks. I can hold the house down." "Are you okay with that? You seemed so excited to go. I don't want to feel guilty." "Mom it's fine. I was thinking about jogging this whole break anyways." "I was hoping you'd considered that before it got to late." We both laughed loudly. My mom leaned in and gave me a warm hug. Then she got up and left quickly. I went over to my dresser and dropped my head down into the unfolded clothing. I honestly don't even think I own anything to jog in. Maybe Sarah does. Thank god she lives across the street. I'll take a visit tomorrow. I need rest so I can begin my jog. Later that night I lay in bed. Wondering where I should start my exulting work out journey. It'd be simpler to just run around the block a couple times. But I don't need the neighbors to watch me. I tilted my head over to my window. The light winter breeze blew the trees gently. Then I had an idea. "I'll go jog in the Forrest..."
