#life As A Raindrop My #life started as a droplet, a small bead of water plummeting to the earth. As every second merged into the next the ground below drew ever closer. The wind rushed at my watery frame chilling me to the core. The ground was upon me now, I braced myself for impact. I guided myself towards a small wet patch glistening in the low winter sun, the wind trying hard to blow me off course. "Splash" I crash landed, the glimmering pool invited me, I had now become part of some greatness. I swam and swam, colliding with others like me. Above, more and more droplets arrived, splishing and splashing as they crash around me. The droplets slowed down and eventually stopped, no more friends were to join us today. I felt myself becoming warmer as the suns rays pressed their golden glow into the slowly evaporating pool. I began to shrink and spread into tiny particles, the air around me became thin and I started to lift into the air. The heat made me float higher and higher until I began to cool, taking my original form in a mist high up in the sky, getting so heavy and dense I began to fall again. The cycle had started again.
