Imagine I'm sitting at table in this bar, somewhere in Pennsylvania. Billy Joel is earnestly telling me not to drink alone with the faint sounds of pool cues and clacking balls riding the soft ambiance of this rainy Thursday. This moment is singular, still, complete. All my memories are calcified in an existence that is wholly outside this moment. Aside from writing this to share with you, I can completely absorb this moment with no pretense or regret. And I miss you.
